The Westminster Sunday Farmers Market launched on June 9, inviting downtown neighbors to shop and eat on our plaza at 12th and Nicollet Mall every Sunday from 8:30 am–1 pm. The Market connects our community to local farmers, local specialty-food creators, and Fair Trade and locally made craft vendors.

Vendors include Silverboom Coffee, The Farm of MN certified organic produce and honey, The Bean Market dried beans and produce, House of Talents fair trade gifts, and Utecht’s sustainable meats. New vendors will be added each week. The market also is in the process of being able to accept electronic benefit transfers for people who receive government food assistance.

On Sunday, September 8, the Market becomes “The Other Westminster Dog Show,” featuring craft dog-related products, information from rescue organizations, an open invitation to participate in a dog costume show, and a photo booth to memorialize the day.
