TOPICS

• Loring Park Tennis Courts – Michael Schroeder will present reconstruction plans and financing for 4 Tennis Courts, as well as additionally creating 2-4 Pickle Ball Courts. Discussed as well would be using Park Dedication fees for the Pickle Ball courts
• MPRB Ecological draft Plan 45 day review – Lee Frelich will present the draft Ecological System Plan, which has been posted for public comment by The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. The plan addresses specific issues including climate change, water quality, runoff, invasive species, and fragmentation of habitat, to envision an environmentally sound way of managing the city’s impacts so that it is cleaner, greener, cooler and more efficient, to benefit both nature and humans.
