October Community Safety event: Loring Park Neighborhood Public Safety

Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m., when we’ll be holding a community-wide event related to public safety in the Loring Park neighborhood, hosted by the Miracle City Church, which is located in the Music Box Theater, 1407 Nicollet Ave.

This topic has obviously been front and center since the tragic shootings at Shoreline Plaza, but there are a number of other neighborhood concerns that need addressing as well, ranging from so-called “livability” issues to open drug dealing to domestic violence.

These are all problems with solutions, even if they’re not easy, and we’ll have a chance to hear from other local officials and stakeholders as we work together to chart a path forward.
