Construction begins on two new Pickleball Courts this summer!
In February 2022, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) approved an amendment to the Loring Park Master Plan to include 2 dedicated pickleball courts to be located adjacent south of the newly renovated tennis courts. MPRB staff and design consultant have developed a site plan for the pickleball courts and shared plans at the February CLPC meeting.
Pickleball courts construction bids were received in April with contract award anticipated mid-May.
Construction is planned to begin in July after the Twin Cities Pride Festival.
